4. 54. Author. Posted May 21, 2022. i solved this issue, in the .ass subtitle file is present a style not compatible with lg Emby app. i've extracted all the .ASS subtitle from the mkv file, deleted the graphic style and remuxed in the mkv. now all the subtitle are visible.
One part is solved, the S.D.H bad hearing subtitles was caused by LG, in the menu op the LG G1 tv, there was a subtitles support setting. This caused the problem. The other thing is if I watch “SEE” on the iPhone I have Bulgarian subs, but on the LG Apple TV it’s not listed in the subtitles.

LG webOS apps do not support lossless audio (TrueHD / DTS-HD MA) and the 2020 OLED models do not have a DTS-HD decoder, meaning that I should play AC3/EAC3 audio if the container has it. If the audio is transcoding, using SRT subtitles force a video transcode (and the video loses HDR).
